Accelerating Time to Value

You've seen it before: a solid plan, capable people, and somehow the outcome still doesn't land. The same problems keep resurfacing, and the gap between planning and execution keeps widening. In the age of AI, that gap doesn't shrink, it grows. AI doesn't just speed up your actions, it speeds up the consequences of your decisions, good or bad.

Accelerating Time to Value teaches first-principles thinking: breaking a problem down to what's fundamentally true, rather than copying what worked somewhere else. It shows you the full landscape before you act, not just the part that's visible, so you don't confuse motion with progress. It's for anyone working within a process or system, regardless of industry, role, or level, and it works whether you're solving a complex problem yourself or influencing the person who is.

• Exploring first-principles thinking, and the difference between solving a problem by analogy and solving it from the ground up.

• Understanding why this kind of thinking is becoming more valuable for your career as AI reshapes what gets rewarded in delivery, product, operations and leadership roles.

• Learning about the Accelerating Time to Value course, and whether it's the right fit for you.

Ben Reuhman

Lead Instructor & Program Advisor

MBA, BCA, BBmedSc

Ben Reuhman got his first taste of transformation at IPONZ, New Zealand's patent office, helping build the world's first fully online patent filing system. After immigrating to Canada, he joined BC Hydro before leading enterprise transformation at Seaspan, including a full HSEQ transformation across a unionized workforce of 150+ mariners. At STEMCELL Technologies, Canada's largest biotechnology company, he built an enterprise project management office from inception, governing a multi-million dollar portfolio and sustaining 85%+ team engagement. He believes the biggest barrier to delivering at scale usually isn't the technology, it's the governance and people systems built around it. Ben now works independently, helping organizations get to the root cause of that kind of friction, rather than treating its symptoms. He mentors emerging leaders through Product BC.
