Jiaying Zhao

Jiaying Zhao is Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability at UBC and Canada Research Chair in Behavioural Sustainability. She uses psychological principles to design behavioural solutions to financial and environmental sustainability challenges. A recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal, JZ has advised many organizations, including the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, the OECD International Network on Financial Education, the US Social and Behavioral Sciences Team, and the Privy Council Office of Canada.
