Registration & Fees
Q: When is the deadline for course registration?
You can sign up for the course any time up to the course start date. However, we encourage learners to register as early as possible due to limited seats.
Q: Can I complete the Online/Live Online program while attending from outside Canada?
You can complete our Online/Live Online programs from anywhere, as long as you have a stable internet connection. All coursework and requirements are delivered entirely online, so attendance from outside Canada is fully supported.
Q: What are the payment options?
Payment for each registered program is due before the program begins.
We accept the following payment methods:

Q: What is the withdrawal and transfer policy?
We understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation and transfer policy provides flexibility and transparency while helping us maintain the quality and consistency of our professional programs. Please visit: Course Cancellations and Transfer Policy
Q: Is there a chance that my course could be canceled?
Courses may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen operational circumstances. If this occurs, you will be offered the option to transfer to another course, receive a credit note, or obtain a full refund issued to the original payment method.
Additionally, in the event of unexpected scheduling issues, we reserve the right to appoint a fully qualified substitute instructor who may not be listed in the program materials.
Q: What is included in the program fee?
The program fee includes all required course materials. You will not need to purchase any textbooks, and there are no additional mandatory fees. While there may be recommended books you may choose to purchase, they are entirely optional and not required for the program.
Q: Does my course qualify for T2202?
The following eligible Professional Growth programs qualify for the T2202 Tuition and Education Certificate:
- Project Management Certificate
- Business Analysis Certificate
- Agile Leadership Certificate
- Behavioural Insights Certificate
- Change Management Certificate
- Data and Market Analysis Certificate
- Product Management Certificate
These programs meet the requirements for the T2202, which can be used to claim non-refundable tax credits and education amounts.
If you are eligible for a T2202, you will receive an email in late February with instructions on how to access your tax receipt.
Please note:
- The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires that your SIN (Social Insurance Number) and home address be included on your T2202.
- Be sure to add your SIN and home address to your student profile to ensure your tax form can be issued.
Q: My courses qualify for T2202. How can I download the document?
Students who are eligible for a T2202 Tuition and Education Certificate will be notified by email in late February.
Here is information about downloading your T2202 Tax Certificate.
- Go to Professional Growth Login page.
https://growth.sauder.ubc.ca/oasis/signin - Enter your email address and password and then click "Sign in".
- After logging in, hover over your name (near the top right of the screen) to view the sub-menu and choose “Tax Reports”.
- If you have not added your SIN to your profile yet, you may get a message on the "My Reports" page telling you to input your SIN. If that is the case, follow the “Edit Profile” link and choose “Add/Edit” next to "Vitals" to add your SIN. Once finished, go back to the "Tax Reports" page.

Course Access
Q: How do I access my course?
You will receive a welcome email containing login instructions for Moodle, our online learning platform. The timing of this email varies depending on your course’s delivery format and is noted on your receipt.
Note: If you haven’t received your welcome email by the time specified on your receipt, please check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, contact our support team at professional.growth@sauder.ubc.ca
Q: Where are in-person classes held?
In-person classes typically take place at UBC Robson Square campus. Details about your specific classroom location will be included in your welcome email.
Q: Where can I park?
There is an underground parking lot available at UBC Robson Square campus. To access the Impark 800 St. Robson Lot 110 location, travel to the corner of Howe Street and Nelson Street (Howe Street is a one-way street). Once you have entered the parking lot, follow the directional signs to UBC Robson Square the below ground parking area. Once you have entered the parking lot, please follow the directional signs to UBC Robson Square in the underground parking area. Please click here for more information.
Q: Where are the closest hotels located?
Vancouver offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit different preferences. For programs held at UBC Robson Square, the following nearby hotels may be convenient options:

Certificate Programs

Q: Are there any prerequisites to start the programs or courses?
In most cases, no prerequisites are required to begin. Many of our programs are open enrolment, meaning you can register as long as you have created an account and meet basic language requirements. However, certain programs may have additional application processes or expectations, as outlined here
While no prerequisites are required to start most certificate programs, some individual courses within a program may have their own prerequisites. These will be noted on the course registration page.
Most Professional Growth courses are designed for learners aged 18 and older, typically with some prior work experience.
Q: Can I take more than one course concurrently?
Some learners choose to take more than one course at the same time. If you are unsure about managing your course workload, please reach out to us at professional.growth@sauder.ubc.ca
Q: What is the difference between the individual courses and the Bootcamp? Will students receive the same credentials?
Bootcamp
The Bootcamp is an intensive, cohort-based program where you sign up once and complete the full program in a structured, fast-paced class.
Individual Courses
Individual courses provide a flexible, self-paced approach. You can sign up for each course individually, allowing you to complete the program in stages. Depending on your availability and the start dates of each class, you can finish the program in as little as 6 months or take up to 2 years to complete it.
Credentials upon completion
Regardless of whether you choose the Bootcamp or individual courses, you will receive the same certificate and badges upon successful completion of the program.
Q: Can I switch between the individual courses and the bootcamp program?
Unfortunately, no. Once you begin either the individual courses or the Bootcamp program, students are not able to switch between the two options.
Q: Is there a timeline (deadline) to complete the certificate programs?
Certificate programs must be successfully completed within 2 years from the date you start the program.
If you need additional time to complete your requirements, you must submit an email request that includes:
- Your program start date
- Your expected completion date
- The reason for requesting an extension
Extension requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What do I need to do to receive my UBC Sauder Professional Growth credential?
To be awarded your UBC Professional Growth certificate, you must successfully complete all required coursework and demonstrate competency in your program area. This includes earning a minimum passing grade of 60% (or 68% for Behavioural Insights and 65% for Business Intelligence with Power BI) in each course or achieving a "Pass" grade in courses graded on a Pass/Fail basis.
Upon meeting these requirements, you will receive a digital graduation certificate.
Q: How many PDU/CPUs will I receive after completing my course?
Some of our professional development courses are approved for industry-recognized credit, including Professional Development Units (PDUs) for PMI, Continuing Development Units (CDUs) for IIBA, Change Management Professional development credit for ACMP, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for CPHR.

Q: Can I receive a printed certificate?
If you are a graduate of the Business Analysis or Project Management program, you can request a printed certificate for a fee of $150 + GST. To do so, please complete and submit the Graduation Request form. Certificates and Official Transcripts are sent out twice per year. Requests received between December and May are sent out in August. Requests received between June and November are sent out in February.
Q: Where can I download my transcript?
You can download your unofficial transcript from the dropdown menu located on your profile circle in your account. If you would like to obtain your official transcript, please submit your request here: https://growth.sauder.ubc.ca/request-form-official-program-completion-record-pcr
There will be a $20 + GST fee. We will send you an email with payment instructions upon receiving your request.
Q: How do I get my digital credentials?
Upon successful completion of any approved UBC Sauder Professional Growth courses, you will be issued the applicable badge. Students who also successfully complete a certificate program and submit a graduation request will be issued a digital certificate. You will receive an email with more information when you successfully complete a course. You can submit your request here: submit the Graduation Request form
