Impact on your organization, team or business:

Project management capability is not just an individual asset, it is an organizational one. When your people share a common project management language and framework, collaboration, accountability, and delivery outcomes all improve:

  • Improve project success rates: Projects managed by trained professionals are significantly more likely to be delivered on time, within budget, and with objectives met. Foundational training closes the gaps that cause most project failures.
  • Establish a shared Project Management language: When project sponsors, managers, and team members use consistent terminology, miscommunication is reduced and decisions happen faster, saving time across every initiative.
  • Strengthen strategic execution: Trained project managers understand how to link project work to organizational strategy, ensuring initiatives deliver the benefits that justified them in the first place.
  • Build a scalable PM capability: Investing in PM Fundamentals across your team creates a consistent baseline that scales. Whether you have a formal PMO or not, shared practices raise the performance of the team as a whole.

The course spans four content-rich modules that build progressively, from the foundations of project management through to the role of the project manager, strategic alignment, the PMI framework, and how to adapt your approach to different project types. You will spend approximately 10 hours per week on readings, attending optional webinars, applied exercises, and assignments.
