Angèle Beausoleil

Assistant Professor of Teaching

Angèle teaches innovation programs at the UBC Sauder School of Business, and serves as Academic Director of the W. Maurice Young Centre for Entrepreneurship Research. An award-winning educator, she is passionate about developing future innovators and customer-centred intrapreneurs/entrepreneurs. Formerly she worked as a professional strategist, marketing and innovation executive for creative consultancies, technology companies, international consumer packaged brands and non-profit organizations.

Dean, UBC Sauder School of Business

Darren is the Dean and RBC Financial Group Professor of Entrepreneurship at the UBC Sauder School of Business. He is globally recognized for his expertise in strategic marketing, marketing research, consumer behavior and social influence, new venture design, entrepreneurship and creativity. An award-winning academic, he is a past recipient of the Killam Research Prize and the 3M Teaching Fellowship, and in 2015 he was ranked as the #1 professor worldwide for marketing research by the American Marketing Association. He also consults widely for multinational corporations.
Tim Silk

Tim Silk

Associate Professor of Teaching

Tim is an award-winning teacher at the UBC Sauder School of Business specializing in brand strategy/management and new product development. He works with organizations to identify market opportunities and bring new products to market. He has also served as an advisor on consumer behavior, disruptive innovation and pricing to organizations such as Best Buy, Brand Finance, McKesson and Visa. Before becoming a professor, Tim worked as a product manager in the beverage industry and as an account manager in the advertising industry.
